I applied to the San Francisco Academy of Art University for the fall of 2010 (and they obviously accepted me. Thanks, open door policy!). I've done a lot of research and I find that I like school. However, some negative comments help me because yes, AAU only cares about your money and routine.
Therefore, I am only asking the current students for their opinion on the following topics:
Is it true that the turnover rate is very high because the majority (turnover) is slow and cannot handle the workload?
How are the people there Teachers, students, etc.
What about the * Ptography * program? Or something I know
My mother said she would do better at places like Santa Clara University and even SJSU (because she had never heard of AAU and thought it was a bad school according to public visit policy because It's easy to get into it.)
Is it better to look for an apartment than to live in a room? (very handsome ..)
And, of course, the big question: is this research really worth it? My parents can afford it, but it's still a lot of money.
Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to be 100% sure.
(Also, I don't need to waste my time and energy applying to other universities: Q)

As a current student of the Academy of Fine Arts, I can address your concerns.
The mortality rate is higher because of the reasons you have mentioned. With the gym's open door policy, anyone can come in, but if you are lazy you will not be able to walk for long. I understand what your mother was thinking when she said that the academy is a bad school because of its public tour policy, but in reality it is the opposite. Because of the academy's involvement in the art and design industry, companies know that people who graduate from academia are ready to work and transform the global industry. That's why academy graduates pursue a successful career.
The gym staff is amazing! All faculty are professionals in today's industry who have a wealth of knowledge and connections, and when it comes to doing so, students are just like any other student.
My friend Chris is in the school of photography at the academy and he likes it. He used to consider himself a good scorer and now swears that he has become a great scorer thanks to the academy.
Living in a dormitory will be much more comfortable than finding a place in your home. Plus, you'll be getting the best shuttle in and out of your dorm and the perfect opportunity to mingle with your classmates.
Lessons should be valuable. You do not have to have experience or knowledge to leave the academy, and the academy offers you many opportunities to pursue your education, including scholarships, loans and scholarships. If you are really concerned about tuition fees, I strongly advise you to contact the financial aid representative at and see what help you can get. I definitely benefited a lot from the financial support.

I have no doubt that the Academy of Art is the best choice for a university master's degree. The job opportunities available for academy degrees are endless, especially since all professors are professionals in the industry today. By the time you graduate, you will have so many contacts, and so much help and information, that you will be far better off pursuing a successful career in web design and new media than if you were someone. I have gone to another school. .

I, too, had just signed up in the fall of 2009. I am working to get a degree in web design and new media.
I like that you read a lot of reviews about AAU, I also read a lot of reviews about many universities and I see that there are bad, good and irrelevant reviews about all the universities without any exception.
What I'm seeing is a private school and it seems like it's all about money, so yes, it's very easy to get into it. And like any school, there are good, bad, and bad teachers.
I also see that if you are serious about the career you are aiming for, a serious student and keep doing your homework, you will succeed.
But if you are unsure and do not plan to work ■■■■■■, you better save your parents' money!
These students are not even nannies, because from what I have read they are very critical, but their purpose is for those who do not want to develop SS and want to become a real professional. .
And I'm going to be a new student, so I'm going to dribble like you so I don't get cheated. I'm 50 years old and I don't have time to waste :)
