What does electrician (12r) mean by army? 3
I'm going to Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Will be there on September 3 for basic training and for the duration of AIT. I am an electrician trained for military service and would like to know if anyone with experience can give me an idea of what it will be like when I leave. As far as I know, the platoon in which I will be stationed is already touring in March, which means I will probably be there. I think my real question is whether this training will prepare me for what I am going to do abroad and whether I should watch another fight. Anyway, I'm cool, I actually prefer to watch fights because I joined the army, so I didn't join. Can I get a job as an electrician outside of military service if I return from abroad after completing my training?
it's boring.

Well I think they will send it to you. You don't get directly involved in a combat role and just do your job but ... you're in the army, you have to use it and you can do it in combat as we know it.
If you give up, with your diploma, you can become an electrician. Like I said, money is great for an electrician !!
Someday my best friend!
12 We can see the battle I am fighting, but you will not knock on the door. Basically, like Electrician CB, you can and do help build checkpoints during battle. My passionate combat unit was stationed far away from the base, mortars were rained under searchlights and IEDs were dropped on convoys. I spend most of my time working with 12w. Electrical work includes SEA / SWA cabling and on-site generator installation.

You are an electrician. If you go there you will go. I doubt you see the fight.
Sounds great when you go out, GBS.
