My dog tried to eat the ants! Is this normal? And of course accidents happen indoors, but what do you do if you don't catch them personally? Thank you very much:)

My two dogs usually do this and the doctor says it won't hurt them. I like to play with them and then eat them ... it's real and I try to stop them but I give up ... hahaha
