Complex-event Processing - How To Discuss

Complex-event Processing

Complex Event Processing (CEP) is a type of data processing that converts incoming event data into actionable higher-level, more complex event data that provides insight into what is happening. CEP is event-based because the calculation is triggered when event data is received. CEP is used for demanding continuous analysis applications that improve situational awareness and support real-time decision making.
