I still have many, but it's probably been almost a year. I don't remember when I bought it (maybe a bad sign), but I can't find the expiration date.
Given enough time, everything will go wrong. But almond skin? It should still be fine, especially if it is still wrapped in plastic. The year is not a long time.

I think you should try to see. I know walnuts get rough after a while, but I don't know if almonds do either.
