How long will it take dmv to receive my sr22? 3
I asked my insurer to email the proof of financial responsibility to the DMV a week and a half ago and they have not acted on it yet. How long does the whole process take? I am dealing with Calia DMV.

If you have recently taken out SR22 insurance, you will need to bring a copy of your SR22 report to dmv (you should still do this to make sure all penalties are paid and the conditions are met). ۔ Filing does not mean that the process is quick, as the insurer must review the policy, make adjustments if necessary, and then issue the policy and submit it electronically. This process can take up to 3 weeks. There are a lot of details about this, but it should give you an idea of what is involved in this process.
