Is my floor shrinking or should I wash and dry it? 3

So I bought one and the label said it was 100% acrylic. I saw it on the internet and said it could shrink, but somewhere else I read that it doesn't. what I have to do ?? I really need to wash it right away but I'm scared.

It should not shrink, but if you do not want to endanger it ... wash it in cold water and hang it in the sun ... if it is very flexible and feels like a knot, pull it out and let it dry ۔ .. will dry up the scenes.
