Next Week Monday

What does next week mean? 3

Does that mean 7 or 14 days? I was interviewed by a law firm on Wednesday. To this day I have not heard of them. Does that mean I was rejected?

Next week means the time between Monday (or Sunday) and Friday (or Saturday).

For example, someone says that next week is Thursday, which means 3-10 days from that date. When they say next week is Friday, they mean 2-9 days from that date.
