Object Data Model

An object data model is a data model based on object-oriented programming that assigns methods (procedures) to objects that can benefit from a hierarchy of classes. Thus, objects are layers of abstraction that contain attributes and behavior. The object-oriented data model is a model that extends the space of individual programs into a world of persistent object management and sharing.
