I read Hemingways for Wm the Bell Tolls, and the phrase Que va keeps popping up. Out of context, this seems to mean everything I try or don't care about, but there is also a lot of use of language that I don't understand. Can someone explain to me the different uses of this phrase?
Literally, the Spanish phrase go means what happened, even though it has no meaning in Spanish. The real meaning is completely out of context.
