Frotopia was discontinued by Coca-Cola in the United States in 2001 and was renamed MintMed. A similar situation arose with PepsiCo, which changed its Frotopia clone, FruitWorks, to the nickname Tropicana. However, Fruitopia Strawberry ■■■■ Awareness is still available in the United States (called Minute Maid) at McDonalds Fountain Maes nationwide.
Frutopia juice is still available in various flavors in Caa and was recently launched in Australia. The ingredients of Caian Drink and Old American Drink Fruitopia are not the same and the taste is also different. The American version adds conservatism. In 2007, CocaCola GmbH Germany launched a new range of fruit juices called Fruitopia by Minute Maid.
